María Antonia focuses her practice in the area of Corporate and Commercial Law, where she advises in the acquisition of companies and energy projects, carrying out the Due Diligence processess. Additionally, she  collaborates with the litigation and arbitration departments advising in disputes regarding commercial matters.

María Antonia joined Araoz & Rueda in 2016  after an internship in the litigation department of Cuatrecasas Gonçalves Pereira.


  • LL.M. Business Law and International Arbitration from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam (2016).

  • Master’s Degree for Admission to the Bar from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2014).

  • Erasmus Exchange Program- Università degli studi di Roma “La Sapienza”.

  • J.D. from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (2009 – 2013).


  • Member of the London Court of International Arbitration (YLCIA) since 2015.

  • Member of the Spanish Club of Arbitration (CEA-40) since 2017.
