Professional career

Mar has experience in strategic advisory in corporate crisis scenarios, having been involved in the structuring and confirmation of some of the most recent restructuring plans, as well as in asset and liability transfer transactions in distress situations, including the sale of business units under a “Pre-Pack” scheme. In addition, she is well-versed in insolvency matters, having participated in various proceedings, which enables to advise with a comprehensive understanding of the interests at stake for all parties involved in a crisis.

Before joining Araoz & Rueda in 2025, Mar worked as an associate in the Restructuring Department of Quabbala Abogados (2021-2025).
