Araoz & Rueda, with a team led by partner Pedro Rueda and associate Guillermo Bueno, has advised Consolis Group, leading precast concrete solution provider in Europe, on the acquisition of Prefabricados Tecnyconta, SL, a precast concrete manufacturer based in Zaragoza.
Through this acquisition, Consolis intends to build up its presence in the Spanish precast concrete building end-market (in both residential and non-residential buildings).
With more than 11,000 employees in 22 countries, Consolis Group generated a revenue amounting to €1.45 billion in 2017. The company provides smart and sustainable prefabricated concrete structures for the transport, public services and construction sectors.
Tecnyconta, advised on the legal side by Cuatrecasas, is one of the leading precast concrete manufacturers in Spain. Founded in 1993 and with more than 300 employees, its annual revenues in 2017 were close to €40 million.
