Our Labour Department has broad experience in all kind of issues relating to labor law, including the hiring and dismissal of employees (including senior executives), implementation of social and economic policies, modification of employment conditions (salaries, geographical and functional mobility, etc.), workforce restructuring plans and collective redundancy plans, negotiating collective bargaining agreements and strikes, drafting, negotiation and termination of senior executive contracts, as well as advice in contentious and judicial proceedings.

Our labour team collaborates closely with our different areas of practice, in particular with the Mergers and Acquisitions Department, advising, among others, in labor due diligences, the adoption of all kind of restructuring measures (collective redundancy plans -EREs-, temporary layoff procedures -ERTEs- for ETOP causes (economic, technical, organizational and production), substantial modification of employment conditions), drafting, negotiation and termination of senior executive contracts (compensation plans, professional secrecy, non-compete clauses, etc.), planning of remuneration policies, etc.

In collaboration with our Tax Department we also advise in the design of general compensation and incentive plans, including, among others, stock option plans, profit sharing plans, pension schemes, etc.
