Alejandro Fernández de Araoz inició su práctica como asociado de Estudio Legal (1987-1992), donde adquirió experiencia en asuntos societarios, bancarios, bursátiles, contratación mercantil y derecho de la competencia.

En 1994 fundó Araoz & Rueda junto con Pedro Rueda y desde entonces ha venido desarrollando su práctica dentro del asesoramiento mercantil general y, en concreto, en las áreas de Fusiones y Adquisiciones y mercado de valores, en las que cuenta con una dilatada experiencia. Asimismo, asesora habitualmente en materia procesal y en materia de reestructuraciones/concursal.
